Walking For Health
Fancy getting fit? Enjoy walking and meeting new people? Join us for a Health Walk in Amber Valley! 
If you are new or returning to exercise, or are just wanting to get more active, these walks may be just what you're looking for. These walks are short, ranging from 1.5 - 3.5 miles and aim to improve health and promote an active lifestyle. The walks are very social and usually stop in a local cafe for a drink and a chat afterwards. Being led by trained walk leaders ensures that walkers are able to at their own pace. No need to book, just turn up.
Tuesday - commencing 9th January 2018 every fortnight -  9.45am and 10.30am
Duffield Meadows and River Walk
Meet at Weston Centre, Tamworth Street, Duffield DE56 4ER

Crich Walk - Meet in the Market Place near to the bus stop

Waingroves Woodland Walk - First Tuesday in the Month 

Meet at The Marquis of Ormonde, Codnor Denby Lane (free parking), DE5 9SP.


Tuesday - 11am  - 2nd, 3rd & 4th of Month
Ripley Follow On Walk. Meet at the entrance to Ripley Leisure Centre, Derby Road, DE5 3HR


Tuesday - 2pm
Heanor walk - Meet outside the visitors centre at Shipley County Park, DE75 7GX


Wednesday - 9:45am

Ripley Health Walk - Dementia inclusive - Meet at the entrance to Ripley Leisure Centre


Saturday - 10:00am (from April 8th to August 26th -Weekly)
Lea Gardens Progression Walk - Meet outside Lea Gardens Tea Rooms
