As you are sightseeing around the Amber Valley you will probably already recognise some of the area and it's attractions, as the area is a popular location for film and tv productions.

Peak Practise was filmed in the area for a number of years. The earlier programmes featured Crich and surrounding countryside as the fictional village of Cardale. Over the years with their restored vehicles and period street scenes, the transport venues, Midland Railway and Crich Tramway Village have proved to be popular choices for filming period dramas and productions.
